FATE & DESTINY

                                                   ABOUT AUTHOR

Born in an army camp at Yonphula and brought up at Mongar, Bhutan, Dorji Wangdi is—by profession—a primary
teacher. He completed his high school from Mongar High School in 1998 and appeared for the BHSEC exams at
            Nangkor Higher Secondary School.
Dorji loves to read fiction by Nicholas Park. His favorite books—so far—are Dear John, A Walk to Remember and
            If Tomorrow Comes.
He is a thrill-seeking explorer, enjoying the adrenaline rush of exploring the natural beauty, or the serenity of green
outdoor spaces. After Bhutan, Japan and South Korea are Dorji’s favorite countries, being greatly inspired by the
mesmerizing countryside landscapes and the way Japanese and Korean people lead a life of great simplicity. He hopes
to visit them with his family, one fine day.
He is retrospective, introverted, and reclusive. He loves pets and is fond of going on family tours to sequestered spots.
Becoming a vegetarian is what he believes to be the greatest achievement of his life. His novels include Tears of
Suffering and For the Sake of Precious Life. He has also authored Literature of Prose and Allegory and Self-Help
            Grammar Exercise Book.
