Mrs. J'Angelique Boddie

Every year, "52" Magazine awards one
individual who has had a significant

positive impact in the community and
exemplified outstanding leadership.

This year's spotlight recipient is Mrs.
J'Angelique (Angel) Boddie. As Director of

Future Scholars Learning Academy, an
Early Childhood Education Center, Angel

strives to serve others, inspire, educate,
cultivate, and provide knowledge and
resources to all that cross her path.

With a genuine passion for people and children, Mrs. Boddie
followed her heart and mind and launched a daycare center; one

that offered career opportunities for her employees to grow in a
field they love, and one that would provide Quality Education and

Family Engagement in a Safe and Nurturing environment.

As a 4-star step-up-to-quality rated program, Future Scholars uses

an evidence based educational curriculum for children's learning
and development, and a plethora of supportive resources for all
parents and families needs. Her center focuses on the family as a

whole, as well as kindergarten
readiness, life skills, physical

health and wellness, and social
and emotional development, as
well as speech, occupational, and

behavioral development.
