Change. So many want it and even more need it.

From a world-wide pandemic that took hundreds of
thousands of lives to the irrefutable and
unconstitutional acts of police brutality on the
African American race, this nation is in desperate
need for change. We cry out for racial justice, equal
rights and opportunities and the ability to take back
what was stolen from us many years ago.
                                                                                   L eQ u i B. Gan dy

My contribution to change will begin with this magazine.

The Bible speaks of a man by the name of Nehemiah, a Jewish leader of great
influence in the 5th century B.C. Before Christ, the son of God was born (586
B.C.), the city of Jerusalem was the central place of worship for thousands of
Israelites who believed in the faith of one God. Their religious faith became the
beacon of their unwavering strength and ability to come together as one with
God. The king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, despised the Israelites because of
their faith and overthrew and destroyed Jerusalem, exiling God?s followers out of
                the city.

It was not until a man, by the name of Nehemiah, came along and rebuilt the
walls of Jerusalem. With help from the native people, Nehemiah restored hope,
value, and inspiration to a city that laid in ruins for 70 years. It took him 52 days.

The magazine, ?52? is a representation of rebuilding what was destroyed by the
Babylonians and a rebuilding of what was destroyed in Greenwood by white
rioters. They could take down a city, but they couldn't take the faith from the
people. 2020 is the time that we restore our faith in God, come together as a
people, support each other in business endeavors, and restore our foundation.
Like Nehemiah, let's start a movement by joining forces to see what difference
we can make in 52 days.
