red cord.

Here’s a version of a Celtic Cross that has a Carrick
Knot at each vertex, which gives a more robust look
and additional stability to the piece.

2 Bring the end of the

overhand Knot over,
under, over, to start
the half-knot…

1 the beginning single-pass Carrick Knot Cross.

3 – then pass under, over, under, over

to complete the Carrick Knot out of
the overhand knot.
