Welcome to another great season of football at
Chaparral Stadium and Ebbie Neptune Field.
We are excited to gather our Band, Hyline, EVE,
Cheerleaders, Technical Entertainment Crew and
Football Team to celebrate our Friday night foot-
ball experience. Our Westlake Nation Communi-
ty can be proud in supporting our student-athletes
as they represent the Chaparrals of Westlake High
School with dedication, drive, determination and
pride.
The spirit of excellence that exists at Westlake High School generates a great source of pride in our
community. The 2025 Chaparrals return to the field with goals of competing at the highest level as they have
done year after year in the history of this storied program. The current team has the advantage of having
trained with last year’s 14-2 State Finalist team who spent the entire year ranked in the top 5 in the State in
Class 6A. Many of these players made valuable contributions to the 2024 team and others excelled on our
outstanding Junior Varsity squad. We invite you to join us for every home game as we celebrate a new season.
As your Athletic Director I want to express how proud I am of our entire Athletic Department. We strive for
excellence in all sports and have been able to achieve just that in most sports. Last year we won 13 District
Championships out of the 20 sports contested in District 26-6A. Our Boys’ Golf Team added to their
numerous all time records in Texas history last spring winning their 14th 6A State Championship. That
record stands as tops in the State of Texas in all sports. Our Volleyball team had a great playoff run advanc-
ing all the way to the 6A-D1 State Semifinals. Our Girls Golf Team again advanced to the State Tournament
finishing 4th overall. Congratulations on so many outstanding seasons for all of our sports and best of luck
this upcoming season! These men and women work tirelessly in the pursuit of being the best both inside the
classroom and on their playing fields.
