Join us once again as our community rallies around our incredible football
team, and the Westlake Friday Night Lights programs. Our proud Westlake
community continues to bask in the excitement of the game, the proud
Chaparral traditions, and celebrating with our friends and our neighbors.
So much goes into these exciting games. We all stand proud of our wonderful
students, dedicated coaches, and enthusiastic staff. We showcase our hard-
working football team’s athleticism, the excellence in artistry of the Chap Band,
EVE, Cheer and Hyline, while the Technical Entertainment Crew’s professional-
ism highlights all the plays and the evening.
Don’t forget our mascots Chips and Queso, as these colorful Chaps help the
Cheerleaders amplify the school spirit throughout the entire evening. This display of talent and dedication creates an
experience in which we all want to be a part. Parents, alumni, students, booster clubs and our entire local community
contribute to supporting current students participating in Friday Night Lights, as only Westlake knows how!
Friday nights at Chaparral Stadium are like no other. The sun sets on downtown Austin as the lights shine on a legendary
program. Alumni return to reminisce and reconnect; families with young children come to learn the excitement of
Westlake High School; students cheer for their classmates, and parents share their pride in our students’ accomplishments.
I hope you enjoy this season celebrating all that Westlake and Eanes ISD have to offer, as you cheer for the students both
on and off the field. Our long and proud history continues into the 2025-2026 season as our Chaps take to Ebbie Neptune
Field.
