Jason Jones
Defensive Coordinator | Strength & Conditioning Coordinator
Coach Jason Jones is entering his 19th year of coaching and 15th year at West-
lake HS. He was named the defensive coordinator for the Chaps in January
2022. Prior to Westlake, Coach Jones was the Defensive Coordinator at Mag-
nolia HS. He played football at Hardin-Simmons University four years before
earning a degree in Behavioral Science/History. Jones served as the Special
Teams Coordinator for Westlake Football and cornerbacks coach as they se-
cured three state championships titles in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Jones also serves
as Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for Westlake High School and trains
the athletes in all UIL sports. He and his wife Holly have a four-year-old daugh-
ter named Josey.
Kirk Rogers
Offensive Coordinator | Quarterbacks Coach
Coach Kirk Rogers is entering his 21st year of coaching and his 12th year at
Westlake HS. He has led the Westlake offense to three State Championship titles
in 2019, 2020 and 2021. He previously coached at Odessa HS and Southlake
Carroll HS. He was coaching on the Southlake staff when the Dragons won the
State Championship in 2006 and 2011. Rogers graduated from Olney HS and
received his degree from Hardin-Simmons where he played football. Coach
Rogers was inducted into the Hardin-Simmons Hall of Fame in 2011.
John Rosch
Run Game Coordinator | Offensive Line Coach
Coach John Rosch is entering his 14th year of coaching and his second year
at Westlake HS. Before joining the football staff at Westlake he previously
coached at Melissa HS, Corsicana HS, Weslaco HS and Robert Vela HS.
Coach Rosch graduated from Waxahachie HS and then earned a degree
from Hardin-Simmons where he also played football. Coach Rosch and his
wife Brittany have a six-year-old daughter.
