2025 WESTLAKE FOOTBALL PROGRAM
"EVE" DIRECTOR "EVE" DIRECTOR
KAYSEY THOMPSON
Kaysey Thompson is an active choreographer and color guard instructor hailing
originally from Boston, MA. Clients have included Santa Clara Vanguard,
Carolina Crown, The Crossmen, The Madison Scouts, The Blue Knights, McNeil
High School, Claudia Taylor Johnson High School, Etude Winterguard, and
Paramount Winterguard, among others.
Kaysey began her dance and color guard training at 5 years old, performing
with a local winterguard directed by her parents. In the years since, she has
performed with several WGI and DCI groups including St. Ann’s World, SCV
Winterguard, The Cadets and The Crossmen. Along with color guard, Kaysey
has an extensive background in stage and film. Kaysey spent 15 years touring
and performing with Blast!, Shockwave, and Blast: MIX, Blast: The Music of
Disney and has appeared in projects with Walt Disney Studios, NBC, and Fox
Television.
Since transitioning from a stage performer role, she holds a position on the cho-
reographic and instructional team for The Broadway production Blast! She is
thrilled to be returning as EVE director following four incredible years, includ-
ing consecutive State Titles for the EVE Winterguard in 2022, 2023, 2024 and
2025. Miss Thompson looks forward to growing in success with the Westlake
EVE program!
KELLY BORLAND KELLY BORLAND
GUARD INSTRUCTOR
Kelly Borland is proud to be in her 27th year as a guard instructor with the Chap
Band and Winter Guard. Before joining the Westlake team, she was a guard
instructor at Seguin High School as well as the leader and choreographer of the
Louisiana State University guard for 5 years. Kelly earned a BS in Mathematics
and a Masters in Social Work and was a Licensed Master Social Worker working
with at-risk foster teens before moving to Austin.

FINE ARTS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Raleigh Taylor joined Eanes ISD in 2016 as the Administrative Assistant to the
Fine Arts Department and the Westlake High School Band. Mrs. Taylor earned
her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University (2016). She is a proud gradu-
ate of Westlake High School (2012) and the Chap Band.
