Flighting


      There will be no flighting. All teams will be trying to beat their team quota based off of their
      handicap from Thursday, August 26, 2021. The team with the most points above their team
      quota over two days wins The Dutch.



      Ties


      First Place will be decided by a sudden death playoff starting on Hole #10.All other ties will be
      split.


      Handicapping



      All scores will be put into the GHIN handicap system, if you are out of the hole, please put
      what you would have made.


      Rain Out



      In the event that there is rain, we will do everything possible to finish the first round or the
      tournament. Because of the nature of this scoring in a shotgun, if the second round gets
      washed out at any point, all scoring reverts back to the first 18 or Saturday totals.


      Rules

      ·USGA Rules Apply

      ·14-Club Rule in effect
      ·Out of Bounds is defined by all property fences and white stakes at ground level at their
      innermost point.
      ·Ground Under Repair is defined by white lines.
      ·The ball will be played down or as it lies.
      ·Lateral Penalty Areas are defined by red lines and stakes.

      ·Please put cell phones on vibrate.
      ·Local Rule for Out of Bounds or Lost Ball is in effect
      ·Local Rule for “Roots” is in effect. Free relief is granted if a tree root interferes with the area of
      your intended swing (club head only). Relief is not granted for stance. Relief is taken as
      follows: notify your fellow competitor of your intention to take relief, ball is placed within six
      (6) inches directly on the line that extends from the hole through the original spot of the ball,
      which avoids the root. Exception: a player may not take relief under this rule if: a. it is clearly

      unreasonable for the player to relief because of anything other than a root, b. interference by
      the tree root would only happen because of an abnormal stance, swing or direction of play.
