When establishing a new tree, you want to make sure
that it is watered properly. Drip irrigation systems can
work well for establishment but if using a water hose to
irrigate, turn the pressure down so that a small trickle
or stream of water is applied. This allows the water to
soak into the root ball and not runoff to an unintended
area. During the hot summer months, make sure that
is watered 2-3 times/week for 45-60 minutes.
