CCCC Tennis Facility Upgrade Project 2022 Update
As you can tell from the pictures or seeing it firsthand, our tennis project is underway. S&J Fencing
arrived on Monday and began removing the fence. So far, the fencing on courts 6, 9, 10 and 11 have
been removed. The fencing on courts 7 & 8 will be removed on Friday. From this point those
courts will remain with no fence around them until Premier Courts adds the asphalt overlay and the
fabric for the new fence arrives. Simultaneously with the removal of the fence, South Texas Canvas
Company has been core drilling the holes on the courts for the new awnings. If you happen to be
using court 3, please do not remove or stand on the covers, they will remain this way until the
fabrication of the awnings are complete. The next step is the asphalt overlay, this process should
start next week (August 9th ). The process should take about a week and a half. Once completed,
12
the support structures for the awnings will be installed. As the overlay is being done on courts 4-
5-6, Bolt Energy will begin installing the LED Lights.
If you want to play tennis during this period, please call the tennis shop to make a court
reservation – we will make every effort to accommodate everyone’s needs and wants. We are very
excited that the project has started and look forward to seeing it evolve as each phase is
completed. In the meantime, we will do our best to handle all the challenges that comes with
changing out the old with the new. If you have any questions concerning the project, court
reservations, or lessons please call me at the tennis shop at (361) 991-7561 or on my cell (361) 815-
5979. I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for your patience,
