Nutsedge
Nutsedge
Nutsedge is another common weed that is very
troublesome in warm climates. One single plant can
produce hundreds of underground tubers. Multiple
herbicide applications in early spring/summer are
necessary for control. For complete control of a patch
of nutsedge, it can take 2 to 3 years of applications to
reduce those underground viable tubers, so a little
patience and persistence is required.
A big thank you to Seth Smith and his Grounds Crew for making our
greens look great!
