Stress
One stress that turf is susceptible to is temperature
stress. Cool-season grasses found in northern
regions are prone to stress with extremely hot
temperatures, whereas warm-season grasses found
in southern regions stress with extremely cold
temperatures. This is due simply to the genetic
makeup of the grass, which is why it is important to
choose grasses that best fit the region they are
growing in.
A big thank you to Seth Smith and his Grounds Crew for making our
greens look great!
