Tennis & Swim Chairman - Denny Barre

PICKLEBALL PROGRAM

The Pickleball Program is under the direction of Lenson Smith.

Lenson Smith became a Certified Pickleball Instructor by the International Pickleball

Teaching Professional Association.

Pickleball Leagues, Socials and Lessons were offered last year in order to grow the

program.

The three Pickleball courts on court 11 were used for sports camp last summer to

teach tennis and pickleball. pp. 24/33

SWIM PROGRAM

Despite the pandemic, the Swim Program had a great summer under the direction of

Aquatics Director, Izzy Bluso.

Each month had a theme which meant the pool was decorated accordingly.

Five sessions of Swim lessons were given with moderate success.

There was no Swim Team last season - City of Corpus Christi had not reinstated the

Swim League program.

Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day poolside celebrations were well attended.

Aquatics Director, Izzy Bluso, resigned her position in August to move to Dallas.
