45. Religious Tourism
































                       Religious tourism, also known as faith tourism refers to traveling

                       individually or in groups to holy sites. These sites are also visited

                       by non-religious tourists who want to know the cultural, historical

                       and religious significance. Famous religious tourism destinations in

                       the world are Shwedagon Pagoda, Basilica of San Vitale, MECCA,

                       Harmandir  Sahib,  Temple  of  Heaven,  Bahá’í  Gardens,  The


                       Vatican, Wat Rong Khun, Saint Basil’s Cathedral, Paro Taktsang,
                       Spanish Synagogue, and Jerusalem
