Chester County Justice Center
Owner/User: County of Chester
Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania
Design Statement: Bernardon provided site selection,
land planning, architecture, coordination of engineering
disciplines, and on-site project representative services for
this $80 million, 375,000 SF Justice Center, which includes
seven above-grade levels and one basement level. The
facility is designed to accommodate up to eighteen (18)
courtrooms in the year 2020 and includes all of the court-
related departments and row offices that are necessary to
administer justice in the County of Chester.
A significant area of the basement level houses the Sheriff’s
