Haas Hall Academy
Location: Rogers, Arkansas
Design Statement: Core States provided mechanical,
electrical, and plumbing engineering services to repurpose
the historic, five-story, 42,000 SF Lane Hotel into a private
school that can accommodate up to 610 students. The
building, which opened in 1928, was originally used as a
hotel and most recently used as an assisted living facility.
Our scope of work was inclusive of HVAC, electrical,
lighting, plumbing, 200kw natural gas powered generator
set with dual output breakers, and fire protection design
to repurpose the building while historic elements were
maintained such as refurbishment and reuse of original
light fixtures. Haas Hall Academy was rated the 19th best
high school in the country by US News & World Report in
2015. It is also considered one of the top high schools in the
country by Newsweek.
