Design Statement: The linear generator demonstration
project delivers on site 24/7, fuel-flexible power at a lower
cost than the electric grid. This turn-key design-build project
enables a board range of applications on both the customer
and utility sides of the meter. The ability to seamlessly
switch between gaseous fuels, including renewable biogas
and hydrogen, provides increased resiliency and additional
carbon savings. High efficiency and full dispatchability
load-tracking, fast off/on, black start, and islanding offers
the most cost-effective solution for both firming renewable
generation and ensuring 24/7 clean power.
