Thank you for including Miller Design Group (MDG) in this project proposal. We look
forward to working with you and the entire team. After reviewing the available
information, I have formulated a preliminary description of the lighting scope of work.

Objective

MDG will provide Exterior lighting design services throughout each phase of the project
from Site Visit and Schematic Design through Construction Administration—including
supervision of fixture focusing.

Assumptions

From Bernardon:

The project will be a mix of:

· 80,000 – 100,000 SF of Commercial / Retail space on the lower two floors including a
drive-thru coffee shop.

· A +/- (110) guestroom Hyatt Place brand on the middle floors including 5,000 SF of
banquet space, 2,500 SF of pre-function space, a (125) seat restaurant/lounge with bar, and a
pool. The banquet and pre-function spaces along with a Food Staging area will likely be on
the lowest level of the hotel. The restaurant will serve the Hyatt breakfast program along
with lunch and dinner. The main kitchen for banquet space and restaurant will be on the first
floor.
