Thomas McKenna | Project Director

Tom has 27 years of experience in the design of hotels, retail, and credit union building types.
As a Project Director, his responsibilities include day-to-day management of a project to meet
the overall project objectives. He acts as the communication liaison throughout the course of
a project, not only for communication with the client and sub-consultants, but in-house with
all of the design team members. Tom’s project experience includes:

Relevant Experience:
Dual Brand Hyatt Place & Hyatt House with the Westside Grill & The Aster Event
Center, Allentown, PA
The project was a new six-story, 205 unit, 142,650 square-foot hotel. The building
includes 3,750 square-feet of custom Banquet Halls for 252 guests and 1,550 square-
feet of custom Pre-function space. Another aspect of the building is the inclusion of
a custom 4,870 square-foot restaurant serving lunch and dinner menus as well as the
Hyatt breakfast program. A non-prototypical kitchen serving the restaurant menus,
the hotel breakfast program, and the Banquet Halls is also part of the project. Education
