Dear Brian:
Bernardon is excited at this opportunity to submit our response to the Request for Proposal for Architecture and Engineering
Master Planning Services to Aegis and Limestone Medical Center, LLC, (LMC) as it continues its expansion and growth.
Our team of design professionals has an ideal mix of ambulatory surgery center design experience, vision, and management
abilities with a high level of quality, client-oriented project delivery, and local representation. We offer the following unique
assets:
■ The Bernardon Team has extensive healthcare experience and is extremely knowledgeable with
the regulatory approval process. Our team has collaborated on various primary care, specialty care, and
Ambulatory Surgery projects with AtlantiCare, Clio Health Lancaster, Nemours|A.I. duPont Hospital for
Children, Christiana Care Health System, the Rothman Institute, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. A
project of interest is our recent work for Nemours duPont Pediatrics Clinics where we provided design services
for the renovation/expansion of nine locations. Each location required primary care services as well as additional
support spaces for staff, office support, and conference rooms.
■ Our Bernardon team will provide complete and comprehensive architecture and engineering services to develop
a master plan for LMC. Bernardon’s staff of 78 professionals comprised of integrated architecture, interior
design, and landscape architecture studios allows us to provide the necessary manpower and support. We believe
that you’ll find this to be an extremely qualified and exceptionally responsive team.
■ A key team member is Michael Bach, AIA, ACHE, Senior Project Architect. Michael has extensive experience
in ambulatory surgery center and hospital design and will lead our efforts for these Master Planning Services. In
addition, he will work closely with our MEP Teaming partners, DEDC, for the Building Life Safety Analysis and
the Existing Condition Survey for MEP systems, as outlined in Exhibit A of the Scope of Services. We believe that
this team will bring the appropriate team chemistry to this project.
In the pages that follow, we will further illustrate the experience, qualifications, and depth of expertise of Bernardon.
Additionally, we accept the terms, conditions, requirements, and scope as outlined in the Request for Architectural and
Engineering Services dated June 16, 2021. We are confident that we have assembled a team that will provide an exceptional
quality of service to Aegis and Limestone Medical Center, LLC to assist in the Center’s expansion and growth.
Respectfully submitted,
William E. Holloway, AIA, LEED AP | Principal
