Annual  Day Main School


                                                                        Annual Day is an occasion of  celebration and felicitation, when students can showcase their yearlong
                                                                        learning and efforts in the areas of  curricular and co-curricular activities. It is a proud moment for
                                                                        students,  parents  and  the  school  when  students  display  their  wonderful  performances  and  receive
                                                                        honours for their curricular and co-curricular accomplishments.

                                                                        A  rainbow  of   colours  unfurled  on  stage  as  Goldcrest  High,  Vashi  celebrated  its  much-awaited
                                                                        'Annual Day' on Monday, 16 December 2019. The spectacular show and the students' performances were
                                                                        woven around the theme of  the year “The Child is Father of  The Man” from the famous poem, ‘My
                                                                        Heart Leaps Up’, also known as ‘The Rainbow’ by William Wordsworth.


                                                                        The honourable chief  Guest, Mr Sachin Pilot, the Deputy Chief  Minister of  Rajasthan, arrived along
                                                                        with our esteemed dignitaries, Mr Diliprao Deshmukh, the Senior Trustee of  Manjara Charitable Trust,
                                                                        Mr Amit Vilasrao Deshmukh, Cabinet minister for Medical Education and Cultural Affairs for the State
                                                                        of  Maharashtra and Ms Aditi Amit Deshmukh, Head   Goldcrest Group of  schools and graced the
                                                                        occasion.

                                                                        Mr  Sachin  Pilot,  in  his  speech  emphasised  on  three  things,  the  importance  of   education  among
                                                                        underprivileged strata of  society, followed by uplifting the economic status of  the population and lastly
                                                                        to offer a level playing field to all. He was impressed by the impeccable performance by nearly 1000
                                                                        students on stage, spread across different grades of  the school.

                                                                        The different characters from the Hindu Mythology 'The Mahabharata' were portrayed by the students
                                                                        who were able to gain insights about our rich culture and tradition that has existed for centuries. While
                                                                        some students performed dances with poise and glee, others got an exposure to express thoughts and
                                                                        gestures through drama, using their facial expressions to convey emotions and characterised their role
                                                                        aptly. The participants delighted all with their dramatic skills. The sensitivity with which each character
                                                                        was portrayed was indeed commendable and provided food for thought. The event was a grand success as
                                                                        a result of  the fabulous execution and meticulous efforts put in by the students, the teachers and the
                                                                        entire staff  of  Goldcrest.

                                                                        The Annual Prize Distribution felicitation was a moment of  pride and honour for all the achievers and
                                                                        prize  winners  of   the  school  who  were  awarded  for  their  Academic  as  well  as  Co-Curricular
                                                                        accomplishments.


                                                                        The spellbound audience cheered and applauded for the students throughout the event. Overall, the
                                                                        celebration  was  a  grand  success  and  motivated  students  to  establish  new  goals  and  reach  further
                                                                        milestones in their next Academic Year.
