Sustainable Economic Growth And Development
Under the PNP government, the economy of the TCI continues to grow at a robust rate. The growth potential remains strong with 4 billion dollars of foreign direct investment (FDI) projects at various stages of development. In the new term, many of these projects will begin to bear fruit. These projects will create employment and income opportunities for Turks and Caicos Islanders. As a result, over the next five years, the GDP is expected to double to about 3.5 billion dollars. We will further solidify the growth potential of the TCI through strong business investment, economic diversification and efficient management of our destination.
