ECONOMIC POLICY
In the next term, the PNP Administration will revise and strengthen its economic policy around 10 principles:
1. Economic diversification: Tourism, Financial Services, Fishing and Agriculture.
2. Ease of doing business for investments, domestic and foreign, and entrepreneurship through MSME support.
3. Efficiency and effectiveness in the revenue collection system.
4. Human capital development, technological (E-government) and
5. Resilient infrastructure and systems to counter the impacts of climate change.
6. Strong legislative and operational framework for critical laws, including Procurement and Public Finance Management. Must improve efficiency and productivity without compromising accountability, transparency, and equity.
7. New employment framework to protect Heritage Islanders and equip them for the best jobs the economy generates.
8. Effective communication to maintain an inclusive policy environment for all TC Islanders.
9. Improvements in our implementation processes and management of our priority projects.
10. Expand access to government services across the islands through physical access and digitalizing services.
