In The New Term The PNP Will...
• Review the procurement and planning procedures. Streamline the approvals process for major infrastructure projects, and large-scale private development, to provide greater certainty to developers and turbocharge economic growth. This will cut unnecessary project delays and give greater confidence to investors and the public.
• Continue to develop the highest quality infrastructure. This includes
new infrastructure, modernisation, expansion and upgrading of existing ones through TCIG internal financing, loans and various forms of Public Private Partnerships.
BETTER ROADS
• Redevelop the Millennium Highway to four lane dual-carriage in each direction.
• Develop a series of parallel roads to Leeward Highway to ease traffic congestion and facilitate traffic flow in emergencies.
• Develop the “Caicos Turnpike” from Providenciales to South Caicos.
• Install a traffic light system in Providenciales to help regulate the flow of traffic, ease congestion and improve safety.
• Redevelop Leeward Highway.
