In William Shakespeare’s novel – The Love Letter – he states: “Some are born great; some achieve greatness; and some have greatness thrust upon them.”
The Divine vision by the Angel of this House – Bishop Dr. C. Alexander Williams III – to establish this dynamic ministry – Abundant Life Ministries International - embodies all three of the virtues Shakespeare espoused. This great institution was birthed and established (founded) upon the words of our Lord in John 10:10, which declares: “I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly”. Our founding motto, which remains true today is: The Whole Church, Giving The Whole Gospel To The Whole Man.
Abundant Life Ministries International (ALMI) was founded through Divine direction, on January 8th, 2001 under the leadership of Bishop/ Pastor, Dr. C. Alexander III and First Lady, Elder Chiquita Williams. Our first worship service was held on Sunday, January 14th, 2001 at the Masonic Lodge Building, Airport Road, Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands. There was an overwhelming presence of the Lord as over two hundred & fifty worshippers gathered with an outpouring of praise and thanksgiving as they celebrated this historic and ordained occasion. At the end of the service ninety-eight persons pledged themselves as members of the Ministry.
Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father... St. Matt. 28:19
Given the eagerness of person to join the Ministry, by late January; a New Believers class was established to prepare new converts and other candidates for water baptism and Right Hand of Fellowship. This led to the first baptismal service being held a few months later on April 3rd 2001. The initial opportunities for corporate worship were on Sundays; 10:45am and 7:00 pm; which saw the sanctuary overflowing with worshippers. , Consequently, being mindful of our motto “The whole Church, Giving the Gospel to the Whole Man” a 7:45am Sunday service was established and added to the schedule of services.

The Whole Gospel Christian Academy; a subsidiary of Abundant Life Ministries International was established in February 2001 under the motto “Educating this Generation and the next for the work of the Lord”. During the years 2001 to 2004 the school grew from the stages of Nursery, kindergarten and Preschool to include a full primary school. By September 2004, Whole Gospel Christian Academy had expanded to include a Middle School with a grade being added yearly to realize a full secondary school and was proudly able to present its first graduating class in July 2009. This great accomplishment was not loss to the enemy who shortly thereafter unleashed challenges that the institution due to its rapid growth was not prepared to meet, and despite the intervention of its parent; ALMI, the school did not re-open its doors after July 2014 semester and the company subsequently became insolvent in 2016.
On March 5th - 9th 2001, we hosted our first Back to the Bible Conference; under the theme “A Radical Church in a Changing World”. Guest speakers were Bishop Neil C. Ellis of Mount Tabor Full Gospel Church in Nassau, Bahamas and Bishop Carlos Malone of Full Gospel Baptist Church in Miami, Florida.
On Friday, June 1 2001, Pastor C. A Williams was elevated to another dimension within the body of Christ, when he was ordained to the consecrated office of Bishop. The Act of Ordination” was performed by Bishop Carlos Malone of Full Gospel Bethel Baptist Church,
