Jerry Cahill
Jerry was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis in 1967 at the age of 11. Since being diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and undergoing
three organ transplants, Jerry has dedicated his life to empowering others to succeed. He is the founder and current director
of Team Boomer at the Boomer Esiason Foundation (BEF). Jerry holds a bachelor’s degree in educational psychology from the
University of Connecticut where he was a student athlete who competed at a high level in pole vault. He then embarked upon
a successful twenty-seven-year career in New York’s apparel industry, rising to Vice President of Sales for Joseph Abboud
Sportswear. Jerry also founded You Cannot Fail in 2015, a motivational launch pad empowering people to discover and embrace
their own heroism in order to meet life’s challenges no matter what obstacles they are facing in life. Jerry is also a motivational
speaker who focuses on exercise, life with cystic fibrosis, and how transplants are not a cure, but an extension on life that comes
with additional challenges.

Mariah Caise
Mariah is 28 and has CF. She currently lives in East Brunswick, NJ where she has lived her whole life. Mariah is a full-time
accountant. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a master’s degree in accounting in December of 2021.
Mariah has a new job title as of this summer: being a mom! She’s very excited for this new role in her life. She also enjoys
bowling in her free time–she is a member of various leagues and participates in multiple tournaments. Mariah also enjoys
writing, taking walks, reading, and crocheting. Outdoor hobbies include zip lining, dune buggying, and horseback riding.

Matison Deaton
Matison is 33 living with cystic fibrosis. Born and raised in Alaska, she moved to San Francisco, CA, in 2022 to receive combined
double-lung and kidney transplants. Now, three years post-transplant, she focuses on CF advocacy and raising awareness about
life after transplant. She serves on the committee for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Rose Up event and, in her free time, enjoys
jigsaw puzzles, creating digital content, and spoiling her two cats, Misty and Pepper.

Caleigh Haber
Caleigh is 35 and lives in Barcelona. She is a patient advocate and the founder of Fight2Breathe, a platform amplifying the
voices of people living with cystic fibrosis and chronic illness. Diagnosed with CF at birth, she has undergone two double
lung transplants and has dedicated her career to advancing patient perspectives in research, healthcare, and policy. Caleigh
collaborates with organizations such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Donate Life, Make-A-Wish, Global Genes, pRxEngage,
and served as a Co-Chair for the BreatheCon 2025. In her free time Caleigh loves traveling, reading, cooking, learning new
