Medicine Assistance Tool (MAT):

PhRMA’s Medicine Assistance Tool (MAT) is a search engine designed to help patients, caregivers, and healthcare
providers learn more about the resources available through the various biopharmaceutical industry programs. MAT is
not its own patient assistance program, but rather a search engine for many of the patient assistance resources that the
biopharmaceutical industry offers.

UNOS is the national Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) contractor. As the OPTN contractor, UNOS
manages the national transplant waitlist by matching donors to recipients 24/7, 365 days a year, securely maintains a
database containing all organ transplant data for every U.S. transplant performed, unites the transplant community to
develop equitable allocation policies, and monitors organ matches to ensure policies are followed.
