Many years ago I worked a night shift at a hospital next to my Bible school. In the beginning, I told many people about Jesus. But after some time I was no longer doing it, without even noticing. One morning I felt like I should talk to one person. I did and to my surprise she gave her life to Jesus. The patient next to her approached me afterwards and asked me to tell her about Jesus as well. She told me that she listened carefully and understood the Gospel for the first time. Then she also gave her life to Jesus. I usually drove home tired after a night shift. But I was so excited that morning that I was wide awake and felt as if I could fly.
There is a secret in living not just for ourselves but becom- ing a blessing for others. The Bible expresses it this way: He who gives will receive. Do you know the feeling you get when you have passed on the Gospel and also the happiness when you have led a person to Jesus?
