WELCOME

We are delighted to welcome you to our team's second Private Equity Summit with the theme
'Drivers, Disruptors and Unlocking Value'.

This Private Equity Summit, and yesterday's Fundraising and Deal Academy, that was co-hosted
by Deloitte are the latest in our firm's “Learning and Engagement” initiative across its practice
areas. We hope that it will provide a content-rich, sector-agnostic and interactive learning forum
for informed discussion and open engagement involving experienced local and international
stakeholders, advisers and other participants discussing and providing insights on emerging
trends and prospects for investment in the Nigerian private equity and venture capital sector.

We are honoured by the participation of Mrs. Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, The Honourable Minister
of Finance, Budget and National Planning and Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Honourable Minister of
Industry, Trade and Investment, Nigeria in our keynote interviews. We acknowledge, with many
thanks, the contributions that will be made by Ms. Yewande Sadiku of the Nigerian Investment
