There's a whole lot going on in the world at the moment and it's a

bit overwhelming and confusing and occasionally rubbish.

With Louis CK making an unwelcome and untimely return to comedy, it

seems like a good time to shout about some of the comedians who
deserve their spot on the stage.

If we Londoners are good at one thing, it's finding something to laugh

at. But for those struggling to decide what to bestow their laughter
upon this month, we've put together a selection.

Here are a few of the best comedy shows and events to go to in

               September.

               Bridget Christie: What Now?
What with Trump, Brexit, the impending apocalypse and

environmental chaos, this is a show for anyone struggling to enjoy the
smaller things in life. Following previous shows that tore apart the

patriarchy and Brexit, she asks the audience: What Now? The multi-
award winning comedian has a show on Netflix too, so you can swot up
               before you go.
