Katherine Ryan on cosmetic surgery and why her life is a Glitter Room

The title of Ryan’s show was inspired by her daughter, who wanted her
bedroom walls to be painted in glitter, despite the builder saying it

would devalue the house (they did it anyway). She told the
Standard that “the way I live my life generally upsets some people
sometimes, so my life is a glitter room”. She’s without doubt one of the

most polished and no-nonsense comedy performers we’ve got.
