What’s the worst meal you’ve had abroad?

All the worst meals I’ve had have been in Britain — no offence. I tried Marmite
recently and I found it really upsetting. It tastes like this weird yeast juice with a
sausage-like aftertaste. I also dislike red meat and pastry so the fact I live
somewhere where it’s a national pastime to put meat into pastry is difficult. All that
stodginess: bread, Yorkshire puddings, pies… I can’t do it. You’re really good at
potatoes, though. I love roasted ones.
