                                 Focus on crocus

In the last newsletter, we reported on Rotarians and schoolchildren
in Exmouth and District planting crocuses, symbolizing the End
Polio Now campaign and International Rotary Day (23 February).

The crocuses duly flowered and other towns were similarly
embellished. All around Totnes, there were proud clusters and
roundels of bright purple planted by Rotarians, local gardeners and
                                 schoolchildren.

There has been similar success in Torquay where crocuses were
planted in local schools and around the town, Tiverton too were
busy in the autumn and we are pleased to publish some photographs
opposite of these cheerful harbingers of spring.
