equipment such as crutches, wheelchairs and office furniture; and biomedical equipment such as x-ray machines or operating tables. Inventory changes on a regular basis depending on donations.
As an extension of the cargo program, C.U.R.E. Clinics offer medical support services and education to Project C.U.R.E.’s international partners. Teams of dedicated professionals travel worldwide to facilities who have received C.U.R.E. Cargo to provide C.U.R.E. Clinic services to help babies survive, help mothers thrive, and prevent and manage diarrhea. Thousands of dollars of medical supplies are carried by traveling doctors and nurses in the form of C.U.R.E. Kits. More than 20,000 people volunteer with Project C.U.R.E. every year, making the organization one of the most efficient and effective grass-roots organizations in the country.
During this past year’s health pandemic, Project C.U.R.E. has proven its ability to make an impact. In early January 2020, overseas partners contacted the organization requesting N95
