PRAYER AND CONVERSATION
In Week 4 you will introduce Prayer Time and Prayer Conversation to your Couples Talk Time process
Prayer Time
Prayer requests are to be collated by the husband and consist of contributions by both parties; they may consist of concerns or requests that include:
• Your marriage
• Your kids
• Family members
• Friends
• Your church and its leaders
• Work issues
• Health concerns or breakthroughs
• Stresses
• Money problems
• Giving thanks •...
The prayer time will last no longer than 5 minutes and will be shared by both husband and wife, taking turns to pray about what concerns them.
The couple will join hands, to pray, and ensure they say their prayers out loud. This may feel very strange, at first, but it is important that it is conducted in this way. The husband must lead this part of the process.
Prayer Conversation
Immediately following the Prayer Time, couples are to spend time talking about some of the things they just prayed for. These things may concern:
• Matters of the heart,
• Important people in your life, and/or • Situations you care deeply about
