Friends are there to support us through the challenges of life, work and family. But when it comes to talking about
the different strategies we’re using for retirement, most of us are hesitant to share. Now is the
time to break down the taboo and have real conversations with our friends on how we save money for our future. It’s always great to bounce ideas off one another. You may learn something new from your friend and you can start incorporating
these strategies into your day- to-day planning! It can be as simple as bringing up your dream of waking up without an early alarm or discussing your travel plans after retirement. Here are a few talking points to help you discuss strategies with your friends:
1. Have you thought about retirement yet?
2. What steps are you taking to save for retirement?
3. When do you plan on retiring?
4. How are you balancing your financial obligations and retirement savings?
Talking about personal finances can be an uncomfortable conversation, but it doesn’t have to be that way. We are
all learning as we grow in our
