• Memahami konsep teks procedure
• Menganalisis struktur, ciri kebahasaan dan informasi dalam teks
procedure

• Menuliskan teks prosedur dengan struktur dan ciri kebahasaan
yang baik dan benar.

Materi Pembelajaran
A. Introduction of procedure text
1. Definition
A descriptive text is a text which portrays the image of a
certain thing from which a writer wants to transfer it to readers.
Mostly descriptive text depict or describe the image of a certain

person, animal, things, and location or place.
2. Purpose
The purpose of procedure texts is to explain how
something can be done, such as directions, recipes, user guides,
and travel plans.
3. Kind of procedure text

B. Structure of procedure text
1. Goal
This structure contains the objectives of the procedural text that
will be created. The functions of goal is to tell the reader the
purpose of the procedure text.
2. Material or Ingredients
Material structure or Ingredients contains the materials and
tools needed to make or use something.

Example :
• Ingredients : flour, egg, butter, Chocolate powder.
