MUDGEE SPORTING CLAYS CHRISTMAS SHOOT 2020
Our branch of Sporting Clays NSW held our annual Christmas shoot in December 2020.
On Saturday 85 shooters had nominated. Sunday we attracted an extra 10 with 95 keen shooters hoping to win a ham. Thanks to our main sponsor MR NICK NICHOLLS the club was able to hand out 60 hams to those who had entered the competition. Junior shooters also shot for free. NICK has sponsored our Christmas shoot for well over ten years and we are most appreciative of his ongoing support.
Two ranges of 26 targets had been set by some of our keen members with a good mix of novel and more competitive clays to keep all shooters on their toes. A cash divide was on offer for the teal stations (THANKS TO HORSLEY PARK GUN SHOP).
Quite a few shooters had cleaned both stations and were keen for the shoot off on the Saturday evening. The shooting stand was moved back several times before a result could be finalised.
Winners were Chris Barrowman, Angelo Salamon, Dom Lebnan and Jeff Merrick in the open grades.
Steve Payne will have his name engraved on the two day high gun which was so kindly donated by NICK NICHOLLS.
We hope to see all shooters on the 8th & 9th of May for the FIOCCHO CHALLENGE
