Practical Information
Stores
Most of shops are closed between noon and 4 pm as well as Sundays and Public Holidays in Gustavia.
In St Jean the stores around Nikki Beach are most of the time open on Sundays and Public Holidays during the high season.
Gas Stations
There is only one gas station on the island, located at St Jean next to the airport.
Opened from 8 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Closed on Sundays and Public holidays.
After 6 pm and during closing, an automatic system with credit card is available. Chip credit card with Pin Code and NO AMEX.
Currency and Banks
The Euro is the local currency but most of shops, restaurants and hotels accept U.S Dollars.
Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted almost everywhere.
Banks (mainly in Gustavia):
Monday to Friday from 8 am to noon and from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Closed on Wednesdays.
But you can find some cash point in St Jean near Lil Rock Restaurant, near Eden To Go in front of the airport or even at Gustavia.
