Because Shawntana "Believed" in God the Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit, she accepted
Christ as her personal savior at a very young age. It was under the 2-_astoral ship of Reverend
Doctor, Benjamin Hooks at the Greater Middle Baptist Church. On Friday,June 11, 2021 God
descended two angels in the form of doves, one of tlie doves came to receive Shawntana and the
other one escorted her back to the Father in Glory. During this transition, Shawntana said "I Believe"
and I avail myself to you, my life, my heart, my soul, and mine so you can use them as you
please.
The Life of Shawntana Rainel SQarks begin in Little Rock, AR. On Wednesday, February 21,
1990, she was born to Ray and Diane Sparks. To her family and friends she was known as
"Tanababi". She was the baby and the last child of four siblings. Shawntana spent most of her life
in Memphis, TN it was here her creativity and foundation began. Although Shawntana had her own
way of doing things, she became an excellent cook by watching her mother. None of her siblings
mastered the recipes, making various sauces and dishes like Shawntana.
She remained a member of The Greater Middle Baptist Church until her untimely demise.
Shawntana attended Evans Elementary, W ooddale Middle and High School. She continued her
studies at Southwest Career College. She graduated and received her degree as a Medical Assistant
from Concorde Career College. She was formally employed by Williams Sonoma Corporation.
Her most recent employer was with United Parcel SeTV1ce (UPS).
Her spirit left the cares of this mundane world and she immediately arrived in glory to join her
brother David, maternal grandparents, Roscoe Sr. and Lee Annie Peterson,_patemal grand2arents,
Walter Sr. and Earline McCran~-Sparks, maternal great grandparents, Eugene and Mozella
Haslerig, Mary Due and Luke Peterson paternal great grandparents Robert and Gertrude
Montgomery-McCraney and Bill and Melissa Dorsey-Sparks. Nieces: Kennedy Cribbs and
Melanie Martin,+, Nephew: Princeton Cribbs, one maternal uncle: Clarence Peterson and one
paternal uncle: 1 homas Earl Whitfield. A Special Cousin Travis Sparks.
Shawntana will forever remain in the heart of her only daughter, Khloe A. Sparks, her sons, Ezerarein
M. Ford and Mason C. Sparks, her devoted and dedicated parents, Ray Moland and Diane Peterson
