Violet Holbrook: Violet Holbrook is a 15-year-old 10th Grader at Marshall
High School. She has had type one diabetes for about 2 years. She enjoys
theatre, singing, dancing, and marching band. JDRF Impact: I am a youth
ambassador because I love advocating and teaching people about diabetes.
So many people don’t know anything about it, and I love telling people what
the truth of having diabetes is and how it is managed.

Hello, my name is Addi. I am 11 years old, and love to swim, play golf, and
ski. I have a dog (who is a red fox lab) named Tonka, and a brother named
Christopher who is 13. In my free time I love to paint, draw, make crafts, and Journey for T1D Event
play games with Christopher. I have had diabetes for over six years. I am a
youth ambassador because want to help JDRF find a cure, just like have been
helping me and my family with my diabetes for over 6 years. I also want to
support others who have Type 1.
