YOUTH AMBASSADORS AUCTION BASKETS
ELLA BOZAN
Tell Your Story And I want to raise awareness of T1D so that more people don’t confuse it with
Strengthen Our Voice T2D. I also think it’s important for T1Ds to be more aware that they can have
better blood sugar levels if they eat healthy and exercise more. Because I am
a positive person and I can show other T1Ds (especially newly diagnosed) that
life can still be fun and somewhat normal after diagnosis.

OLIVIA KLASSEN
I am 14 and a freshman at North Ridgeville High School. I play the French horn
and flute for my school’s concert and marching bands. I am hoping to become
a section leader for the marching band in the future. I absolutely love self-ad-
vocating, teaching, and educating others on Type One Diabetes. I am thinking
about going to school to become a Music Therapist, hopefully working with
T1D kids. When I was diagnosed, I knew no one with T1D, and I want to change
that for other newly diagnosed kids. It’s a scary experience and you need
reassurance and someone who knows what you’re going through to tell you it’s
going to be okay, because it is going to be okay. I only got that from doctors,
nurses, and my family but it didn’t help as much as hearing it from someone
else with diabetes.
