Pollution
What is Pollution?
Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment
that cause a negative impact. It can be detrimental to all life, including people,
plants, and animals.
There are several different forms
of pollution, some of which can be
detected by our senses (sight, smell,
taste, hear), while others we may
not know are there.
Pollution can take the form of a
solid, liquid or gas and in some
circumstances, it can be energy
(sound/light/noise/radioactivity).
It can affect all elements of our environment, including air, land, and water.
