30 Years of
Eco-Schools,
Eco-Greece and the United Kingdom.
Back in 1994, Eco-Schools launched in
Denmark, Germany, Greece and the
United Kingdom.
30 years on and Eco-Schools can be
found in 75 countries across the world,
with almost 50,000 schools involved.
The world has changed in those 30
years; some might say for better,
while others would say for the
worse. But one thing has remained
constant: the unwavering spirit of
Eco-Committees!
In every corner of the globe, these
incredible young changemakers have
continued make their voices heard.
They’ve taken action to make their
schools, communities, and our entire
planet more sustainable.
