Somebody Crunched Colin
Somebody Crunched Colin is a rhyming story of Colin the crisp
packet and his interactions with the natural environment,
with messaging on the dangers of litter and a nice reminder
of what we should do to help. Schools who pledge to be part
of the Great Big School Clean will be entered into a prize draw
where you could win a goody bag of Sarah Roberts’ books and
an interactive assembly for your school.
Planed Arbennig Harri
Planed Arbennig Harri by Sioned V Hughes is a sweet story
book available bilingually which discusses how litter can harm
wildlife, as well as introducing other positive actions we can
take to help protect our environment.
Coming soon: ‘How Clean are Our Streets?’ report
At Keep Wales Tidy we know how important clean streets and clean environments are
to us all. We all know the problems litter, dog fouling or graffiti cause, the impact it has
on us, on animals and on our environment. For us to really be able to make a difference,
we need to understand these issues, what the real problem is, who’s responsible and
where it’s found.
Keep an eye out later this month for the release of our first ‘How Clean are Our Streets’
since the start of the covid-19 pandemic. The report will contain lots of facts about the
litter situation around Wales and how we are faring!
