Tackling litter in the

local environment is an
important way we can help
wildlife, and one of the reasons
why litter picking kit is being offered to

schools as Keep Wales Tidy launches
Litter Free Zones.

Primary and Secondary schools are

invited to join organisations across
Wales to pledge to make a positive
impact in their community.

As part of the scheme, schools are invited to:
> Keep their school grounds clear.
> Keep their school entrances clear.

> Choose an area to look after in their community, such as a local street, footpath or
park.
> Provide a half-termly report using Epicollect. A basic report is required to give the

number of clean-ups, pupils involved, and bags collected
