The risk associated with false self-employment are significant but do you
have anything to worry about?

THE SHORT TEST

our services.

Substitution
The worker can if they wish send someone else in to do the work you have
given them if they can't or do not wish to do it.
Risk
If the worker does something wrong, or produces unsatisfactory work they
put it right at their own cost, in their own time and foot the bill for any
equipment or materials needed.

Direction & Control
They have the freedom to work to complete the job as they wish, working
when they want as long as they complete the work on time and to your
satisfaction. They are not asked or moved on to other work or even other
sites directed by the companies management they are their own boss.
Tools & Equipment
The worker provides all equipment and materials to do the job not just
hand-tools
