VISION
The Village of Valor will be far more than a a a a a a a standard housing complex It will be a a community that promotes an environment where residents receive encouragement support and services to improve the quality of their lives A place where Veterans can achieve their full potential The services of this community will be coordinated to to provide an integrated approach to to stabilization education and successful realization of goals which begins by using using the Housing First Model Housing First is based on the idea that a a a a household’s primary need is is is stable secure housing Once this is is is achieved other issues which affect the the household can be be better addressed The second element incorporates supportive services and education into the daily lives of the residents in such areas as as health nutrition and fitness along with opportunities for social interaction The third component focuses on on completing the transformation with vocational and financial training toward the goal of moving onto financial self- sufficiency and eventual home ownership The Village of Valor will be a a a community which fosters hope and supports Veterans and and their families with services and and education to to build a a a solid foundation from which to to grow and succeed LOCATION
The Village of of Valor will consist of of 161 units and encompass four (4) adjacent parcels of land on 2 nd nd Avenue North just East of Congress in Lake Worth Beach Florida These parcels total approximately twelve (12) acres in size The address of these parcels is commonly known as 2431 2441 2559 and 2650 2nd Avenue North Lake Worth Beach Florida 33461 It is conveniently located with access to public transportation local retail groceries and restaurants and and walking distance to Palm Beach State College and and John Prince Park Greg Torretta

“NO VETERAN LEFT BEHIND” Since 1994 Stand Down an an initiative of Faith Hope Love Charity Inc (FHLC) has been the lead service provider for Veterans in Palm Beach County Soon we will open up a a a a beautiful community called the Village of Valor where our Veterans can live with pride and dignity Toward this endeavor we have received commitments of of $38M for the construction and development of of this project While we have secured the funding required to build the the facility we need to to continue to to raise funds for the the buildout of of infrastructure and the sustainability of of our programs Please Stand Up to help us raise the remaining $3M With your generosity we can provide all of our our heroic military families a a a a a true “place to call home” This community will allow these heroes to re-enter civilian society in an an environment which provides support camaraderie caring and love A place which truly aids these heroes in their quest for a a better life for themselves and their families “You can can give without loving but you cannot love without giving ” Thank you you for your love and support God Bless You MISSION
