Emergency & Transitional Housing
Stand Down House is a a multi- tiered program that provides emergency and transitional housing for Veterans struggling with PTSD mental health
and other physical limitations who have fallen into disparity as a a result of their struggle Additional advantages may include:
• Personalized care plans with life skills management
• Individual sessions provided by licensed psychologist
• Psychoeducational groups
• Onsite peer-to-peer support
groups
• 12-step recovery meetings
• Access to VA Medical Center
treatment programs
• Job readiness training and placement
• Financial literacy classes and workshops
• Social interaction with other Veterans The objective of the At Ease program is to provide Veterans and their families that are displaced or at-risk with the services necessary that will lead to housing and financial sustainability This program offers Veterans and their families a a a a variety
of services from housing and childcare to financial assistance Additional advantages may include:
• Housing
counseling services • Other supportive services such as: temporary financial assistance payments for rent utility payments relocation services and childcare services to help Veterans and Veteran families obtain permanent housing The Forward March program provides services to assist in reintegrating Veterans into meaningful employment within the labor force and stimulates the development of effective service delivery systems that will address the complex problems facing our Veterans Additional advantages may include:
• Vocational counseling • Employment and training services • Educational assistance • Healthcare services • Personal financial planning • Transportation assistance • Income support
services • Legal services Supportive Services
